The Cradle to Cradle design model

This is described in 2002 by Michael Braungart and William McDonough in their book Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things. It forms the basis for the Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Standard, established by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute.

The ultimate goal is to encourage innovation and the design of products that effectively and positively impact people and the environment.
